Accommodations

On the Ohio State University campus in Columbus, Ohio, the Blackwell Inn features a 24-hour fitness center, a full-service bistro serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, room service until midnight each day, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. A complimentary shuttle from the airport is available if you reserve in advance. Parking at the hotel is $18 a day, or if don't plan on using your car while staying in Columbus, you can self-park at an OSU garage for $12.50 a day with no in and out privileges. The Blackwell is a 15 minute walk from the Ohio Union, where the conference events will be.

To make reservations call 614-247-4000 and ask for the 2017 Political Networks Conference room rate, which is $159 a night (before taxes and fees) for either a Deluxe King or Two Queen Room. We have a limited number of rooms available and the hotel is popular so we advise you to make your reservations as soon as possible. To guarantee the discounted rate, you must book your room by 5pm Eastern time on Sunday, May 14th, 2017.

Additional rooms will be available to participants through OSU student housing at the rate of $70 a night. You do not need to be a student to take advantage of this housing option. When you submit your registration for the conference you will have the opportunity to select the number of nights you wish to stay in student housing. (If you have already registered and wish to add this housing option or encounter any difficulties making your reservation, please contact polinetworksconference@gmail.com.) All participants will reside in air-conditioned suites on North Campus with a private (single) bedroom and bath. Linens (pillow, pillowcase, sheets, and blankets) and bathroom amenities (towels and wash cloths) are provided. The registration deadline for student housing is May 31, 2017.
