Accommodations

We have secured two different housing options directly on Duke's campus. The first is the Washington Duke Inn, which is the site of all the conference's evening events: keynote address, opening dinner, and poster session/dinner. This option includes a room block with both singles and doubles (at $199 per room for each). While the guaranteed room block is now closed, it may still be possible to book one of these rooms at this reduced rate by calling the reservations department at (919) 490-0999 and requesting the Political Networks (Group ID: 702499) guest room block.

The second option is intended primarily for students: a set of dorm rooms in Edens Quad on West Campus. The rooms will be $50 per night, plus a $60 flat fee for linens (1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, 1 pillow, 1 pillow case, 4 bath towels, 4 wash clothes, 1 blanket). Dorm registration can be found here. The last day to book the dorms will be Tuesday, May 14, 5 pm.

While we feel these options comprise the most convenient options, others are available. Please see the links here for additional information about the area. We should caution you that parking is difficult on campus. There is hourly parking both at the Bryan Center and at the Duke Gardens, though neither is guaranteed to be available.
